We're going to send cheesecloth ghosts because Lindsey wants to help make them. :)

Cheesecloth ghosts are so much fun to make! I haven't made them in a while, but will have to remember to make a great big one for the porch for this year. McKenna would love to do that, and I'm sure Holden would love to play in the starch, lol!

I'm trying to decide what I'll send. But I'm thinking it might be bendy people in costumes. But I'd really like to do something with bats or pumpkins <sigh> I guess I'll have to come up with something, hehehe.

Costumed bendies would be soooo cute! I never even thought of that, but that's a great idea :)

Although, bats and/or pumpkins would be great too, lol. I am such a big Halloween nut, that just about anything will make me happy, lol!

i have an idea i am trying to tweak...i thought about getting small oval mirrors and etching a face on them - like the mirror in sleeping beauty. i've never used etching cream (that is what i am thinking of using here) so i don't know how involved it is.

or - apple shrunken heads...never did those either - so not sure how involved they are.

I ned to drop out. Dang it Dang it Dang it. I have my stuff halfway finished but it'll probably stay that way for about 2-3 weeks atleast. The boys have been sick all week and I took them in today.... both have bad double ear infections. And we are moving FINALLY next weekend so I'm going to be busy all next week. I was counting on this week to get my stuff out, but its hard when you have a little one in your lap alot to get anything done.

so as usual I am way behind.. How long do you want to wait.. I will not have another chance to finish up till sat. I can drop or keep going.. Just let me know. I am not doing well at the single parent thing while hubby is in school.. This week is teacher confrence and senior meetings at school so I am so behind on life too :wah: I need mom time

Peppermint -- I would say that as long as you can ship on Monday or Tuesday then stay in. I have only gotten one package so far anyway, but I expect to get the rest of them this weekend/next week. So if you can mail by Tuesday at the latest then yours would get here right along with the rest.

Bonnie, I will do what I can. We are in the path of Rita so Sat - Some time next week we might be without power and dealing with floods.. I will try to get my stuff done tonight and in the am after I take care of securing the things outside and draining some of the pool water. Ahhhh

Out of 9 participants, I have only received 4 packages so far, and only one person has said that they dropped out. If I don't mail these now, it's going to be after Halloween and I am still going to have all this stuff sitting here. I will post shipping totals asap, after the kids are in bed.

i'm sorry but i am gonna have to drop out. my friend took one look at my items and shrieked "they look like dead babies!!! you can't send these!!!" (they were glow in the dark heads, feet and hands coming out of the ground with a rip tombstone. to fit the small piece of wood they are glued to - i had to use the tiny heads, hands and feet - hence looking like babies!

i dont think i could whip up something else. however, if anyone thinks they wouldnt' mind - i could send them monday. (of course - i now put the thought of dead babies in your head :( ) sorry mamas!
