Does anyone know of free online knitting pattern for a recorder case ?

My dd finished Tonya's gnome, is now knitting the horse from the First book of knitting and wants to try the recorder case next!

If all else fails, is Barbara Dewy's handbook the only place that has instructions?

edited to add:

would the pattern just be a rectangle sewn up at the sides?
and i add a drawstring at the top?

Thanks in advance

that's what I was thinking...

either a rectangle that's twice as long as the recorder (so the fold would be at the bottom and sew both sides)

or

the rectangle would be just a bit longer than the recorder and double the width (so the fold would be on the side.

and at the top she could K2together then YO every few stitches to make holes for a drawstring to go through....either an i-cord or a crocheted chain.

I made mine just one long rectangle too. I just put a simple yo 'buttonhole' (you can find instructions on about.com ) about ten rows from one end. I think mine was about 14 st wide, about 2.5" ish finished.

Have fun!! Sage can't wait to make here own next year :)
