I am a bit surprised. I decided I would freecycle my old serger. The machine gave me many headaches and I just wanted it gone. So I posted it. I had at least 7 responses, but went with the first one.

I wrote her and said when I would be in the next day town. I love 45 minutes away from the main town and asked The woman got back with me and said that she would check her schedule and get back with me for a time to meet....She still hasn't! I personally am surprised. I really don;to want to have to nag her to come up with a time. I am coming 45 minutes out of my way to meet her, you think she could get back with a time.

I am writing her again to let her know I will be in Medford tomorrow, but if she doesn't get back with me...Well the next person will be happy.

I guess I am frustrated because I had to work up the nerve to post the machine, have been holding on to it for 8 months, and I finally post it and now I get not response.

Anyway, back to the sew and shows...I am certain they are better then my vent

She's not getting back to you about a FREE serger? Um.....she may not be very well balanced.

Yeah that to the PP. I'd move on to the next person if she doesn't get back to you ASAP.

This is why I have given up on getting rid of my stuff this way. It's too big of a headache for me. I was getting rid of a card reader and the lady took forever to finally figure out when she was coming to get it. When all was said and done, it was like 5dys of conversation with her. Most of the time, when I want stuff out... I want it out NOW. I don't want to wait 12wks or whatever lol

Sorry she is being a dork and I would just offer it to the next person. It's rude for her to hold it up.

offer it up to the next person.
and ask them if they can meet you halfway or pick up. geez for something spendy like a serger I totally have 1.5 hrs and gas to pick it up!

(or maybe mail it to me :D)

I will pay you for your time to put it in the mail and send it to me. If someone offered me a serger for free, I think I would pick it up in ten minutes. So, far I have had no troble with freecycle, except once, someone accidentally picked up a bag that was meant for someone else. and when the someone else came to pick up her bag- she was a little miffed. But the situation was resolved lol.
