I need some advice from someone with more experience than myself... I am not sure if you would say this is a gift or some curse some days.. I have had the ability to sense things that are going, to happen since I was about 13. Most are disturbing things. Some are wonderful things.. I suppose the bad things stand out more than the good things... My oldest daughter came to me one night upset as she had a vision, feeling or what ever one might call it that a girl in her class was going to die.. Well this went on over a week.. And one day we heard that the girl got hit by a car and died. Freaked my child out.. I told her that I did the same thing. But not about this child.. about seeing events and places. Anyway I was telling my mother and I could have just choked her.. As it took a big step for me to tell this to my mom.. Well she tells me she too has that ability. Agggh..... Gee would have made me not feel sooo weird and different growing up.. Thanks mom... Ok point of the story.. Over the weekend I had a strong visual dream one of the firemen that works at my hubbys dept. was going to die.. And it was David.. Well Yesterday I get a call from one of my daughters saying that Danny one of the firefighters died.... And it is terrible.. He is misssing and they can't find his body.. He and some of the other firefighters we on a fishing trip and they were all loading up.. and this guy never made it back.. They found the boat circling in the lake.. So 20 guys from here are out there dragging the lake to find him.. I am just sooooooo drained this am... It is the strangest feeling.. I need advice on how normal this is or how to learn to deal with this.. If you have any words of wisdom or anything you can share to help me learn how to focus more.. I feel like I feel like the

Sounds to me like you're just very open on a psychic level. If it is truly bothersome for you, then I would advise either to (a ) Learn how to shield better overall, or (b ) Train your mind, or that which Sees, to *not* bring in information that is not directly related to your family's well-being.

Otherwise, I'd say that everyone has these abilities to some degree. Some people are just more open than others.

I know how you feel; I have always "seen" things that were going to happen. Thankfully, mine has mostly been about good things, or just things that really don't matter much (you know, like so-and-so is going to show up out of the blue, etc.) Very rarely do I learn about bad things that are going to happen. My oldest dd seems to be very tuned into things, too. No advice for you, just thought I'd commiserate (sp?).

I don't "see" things like that, but I do frequently know who is calling or is about to call on the phone - small things like that. I also am very intuitive about people. I know almost immediately what kind of a person they are. One strange thing that has always happened to me since childhood is feeling a "presence" and having all the hairs on my arms and back of neck standing up. I'm very sensitive about beautiful or emotional things (art, music, childbirth, etc.) and frequently cry and have the hair standing up thing over these things, too. LOL! I think I'm just very over-emotional! LOL!

That is a littel startling to envision those things adn they come to pass....I can imagine how you must feel.

I do think, women especially, are intuitive by nature...so this may be a strong area of your life.

I was very in tune with things as a child.. but lost the ability somewhat as I grew older because it wasn't "okay" with my family, so I learned to stop.

My daughter is very in tune with some things as well... she told me for a few months while we were ttc that her sister was dancing with the fairies and wasn't ready to grow in my tummy and be a part of our family yet - she was having too much fun. Then, she told me that her sister was dancing her last dance and then would be ready to join our family.. and about 10 days later I got a positive pregnancy test.. and it's a girl. :) Fortunately, she doesn't seem to draw in negative energies at all, just positive ones.

Ok Now I am not sure how to take this.. But the original vision was about a fire fighter named david dying or well was in the hospital not doing well.. And last week there was a big fire and yep David was sent to the hospital some type of heat exhaustion thing he was not doing well for a little while but he is fine now.. So do I read into this or not?? Just crazy :eyes:
