I'm going to order some parenting books and wanted to get some recommendations. What are your favs?

If it matters, my kids are almost 2, 5, 8 & 10 (who is hitting his pre-teen years big time lol)

thanks

My kids are little, but my faves are How to Talk So Your Kids Will Listen and Listen So Your Kids Will Talk (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0380811960/qid=1118778865/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/102-5669731-7635319?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) , Siblings Without Rivalry (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0380799006/qid=1118778962/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/102-5669731-7635319?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) by the same author, and Kids Are Worth It (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0060014318/qid=1118779003/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/102-5669731-7635319?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) .

I second Kids are Worth It. I highly recommend Hold On To Your Kids by Neufeld and Mate. It was just published under another name here in the States (or will be next month). I got mine from chapters.ca and it was here in 3 days. Very good for all ages but may help a lot with the older children. I am about to read Unconditional Parenting by Alfie Kohn. I am anxiously awaiting its return to the library. It comes highly recommended.
