Hi SD mommies
Paige is having her bday party next Saturday (ok, last min planning parents) and we'd love to open the invitation to all of you. Just a simple family get together type of thing - nothing formal. It's 2-4 pm at our house (we live in Fletcher hills). You're welcome to bring suits (parents must keep an eye on their kids but there is a large step for the little ones) - no idea of what the weather will bring or the warmth of the water though.
Mostly just going to let the kids play together on the playground equiptment and inside, pool if you wish, and have snacks, cake and ice cream.

btw, did you guys feel the quake this morning? it was only the second i've felt. very weird!

Yes, the 18th (sorry just got up from my nap).

Nope - don't think so- what time was it at? I grew up in LA and rarely feel the quakes here.

it was at 8:40. we're usually not up that early and it wouldn't have been strong enough to wake someone up, but milo started crying out of the blue about five minutes before it happened (he never does that). if it was a quake of any consequence i woulda thought he was psychic or something. lol so we were lying there in bed and felt it, but i didn't think anything of it. it was a familiar feeling almost, like riding in a car. but anders said, "hey, i bet that's an earthquake." otherwise i wouldn't have even thought about it, even though i totally felt it.

We have preschool end of the year picnic at 11:00, so we can come after! :)

I know the month is CRAZY! We had to squeeze in a party for her b/c she's been talking about it for almost a year now :) Luckily just a few friends over, balloons, and a princess cake is the extent of her expectations. I feel like it's party central lately.
