I really suck at this. I haven't sewn in weeks. I have a million cute UFOs I could finish but instead I decide to do this knit gored skirt pattern for myself that I've never tried. I've screwed up the hem so many times that it's now a mini skirt. So I finally decide to try a rolled hem as a last attempt before throwing it away. Well I can't fricken find the stupid tool to remove the needle from my serger! Now I've made a complete mess of my kitchen and wasted 2 hours I didn't have to waste. I have (what was) 1.5 yards of baby nay in the trash and I'm wanting to throw my machines in there with it. I need to just accept the fact that I suck at sewing and give it up. :sob:

Oh Sweetie(((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))

You TOTALLY don't suck. I have seen your sewing and it's awesome. Some sewing days are just lousy. I show you the raglan I made for Kyle..:sigh:

Wanna come play tomorrow??

BTW, I got your message on my cell yesterday  I couldn't find my charger for the cell and the battery was dead.

I have felt the same way at times. We all make mistakes or have things that don't go right. Especially when it is something new. Just step away for a bit and then do something you are a pro at to get your confidence. Your work is beautiful. Don't get discouraged. :sadhug:

I'm just realizing how whiney my post sounds. Sorry.

Suz, tomorrow afternoon/evening would work for me. :)

It's okay to whine.. I do it to you all the time ;)

Anytime works tomorrow. Kristi and the boys will be here duringthe day.

I have to go to the Gym at 6:00-7:00pm for Landons Karate but that's all I have for tomorrow.

I can't wait to see your flat tummy...maybe you need some new undies ;)

I think your stuff is great! You definately don't suck. :) FWIW, last night, at like 2:00 AM, I tried to put a rolled hem on a little pair of pants for my baby, screwed something up and had the end of my needle come flying at me. Needless to say, it was time for bed. LOL!

We all have those frustrating days. Tis why I rarely try anything new and do the same few things over and over and over again LOL. Even then I have those days.

You don't sound whiney - you sound frustrated!

I know how what you mean... Lately every time I try to make over something, I just end up with a ruined original. Twice in that past few months I have had really nice dresses that I bought at thrift shops, and they really wanted to be little dresses for Francie - but they ended up in my scrap bin waiting to be trim or cuffs. On the other hand, things I have been making from newer materials and without patterns have been working out much better (this is the reverse of much of the winter)! Keep your chin up and try something different!

Uggh Kori
My front tooth just fell out :eyes: I'm totally freaked out. I have had permenant caps since 1986' Knocked my teeth out when I was 7.

I'm going to try and get into the denist first thing tomorrow. So I'll let you know if we can work something out.

Oh dear Suz! I hope it turns out okay. I've had a permenant cap since I was 7 too. I broke a tooth on my mom's car while waiting to go to a dentist appointment

Kori, you don't suck!! You are great, just having an off day. We all have those.
