First a huge thank you to Stacey for the coolest box ever! I purchased some yummy fabric and a darling little outfit and she tossed in all this wonderful stuff! I just absolutely love having items from other mamas, esp ones that are sewn by them. Here's a pic of a hand me down I bought from her:

Here is an outfit I'm really disappointed in. It was so cute in my head! WAH. lol The swing top is 4T kwik sew 2596. I left the hem AND added a ruffle. I wanted it to be long, but not quite *this* long. I like it though. The pants are KS 3034. I like the pants, but not WITH the top. Plus, I followed the directions and made the ruffle one and half times. I *know* better than that! one step outside into the humidity and they wilted. They really need to be at least 2 times the length of what you are adding ruffle to. I went this route because it was easy. 2 on my different feed gives me 1.5 times exactly w/ a rib knit. So, I need to make plain slim capris to go under this shirt and I'll pair these pants with a simpler swing tank from baby nay puppies probably.

Here's a close up of the fabric. If you guys remember, my dd is a bit obsessed with blue horhees. This was the first knit I have ever owned. Came from Hancock's like 7 years ago! lol Anyone recognize it? I wonder now if it was from a manufacturer of clothing. I *love* it!

And here is a really really bad picture (sorry!) of my Suzanne challenge shirt and a skirt I made from that basket weave to go with it. The skirt I can wear with lots of the baby nay fabrics. I took the pic with someone hanging on me, grabbed it up and tossed it into the washer. Oops. I should have checked the picture closer. The top is Eddie Bauer copy with some modifications and the skirt I just sorta cut. lol

I have a bunch more cut. Hopefully I'll stayed motivated to show.
