Has anyone figured out the formula to doing the Starleigh Headbands out of knits?

I'd really like to make some but would rather not go through the learning curve if someone else has already done so.

I just cut the non-elasic tube down to 12" instead of 14". Works fine. I've only made knit ones for the girls thoug...don't know if that would work on my head. Also...for PRR jersey, I just use the 14" formula since it has very little stretch to it. HTH :)

I did the opposite, I cut a little less than 2 inches off the elastic. I did make one first & try it on dd before I made the changes.

I put the stretch going in the other direction. :)
