Maiden Comfort

I was in a "copy something rtw" mood today. Found a skort in my Land's End catalog, and a shirt in Mini Boden. Figured Kiera could use an outfit.
My first mistake was using KSFC for the skort. I used the KS shorts pattern, and went from there. White piping on the the pockets, and the fabric is french terry. But they're just not fitted enough (plus Kiera is so skinny) for the look I wanted (they really look huge). They actually look great on Chrissy, but a little tight in the thighs/hips.

The shirt is from Ottobre. I used velvet FOE on the neckline and folded in half on the seam. Also cut the sleeves to be cap sleeves (not sure if they're short enough though). It still needs hemming. But it's too tight in the neck on her :( My problem here was trying to avoid tracing the next size up pattern since she HAS grown since last Sept
