"I can play with Barney because he won't kill me."

I didn't know what to say.... I don't know how she came up with such a thing... she doesn't watch the Barney show... and I've never heard her say the word "kill" before.

Yesterday she told my husband to "shut-up" No one says that in my house...

Is this just the age where they hear anything and everything where ever they go?? For all I know she heard someone say these things in a store, ya know? I guess my baby is really not a baby... :eyes:

My dd started that type of thing at around 2 1/2. I had no idea where she got a lot of the things she said either. Must have been just hearing things while shoppoing, at the park, etc., and then trying them out. I always tried to ignore things, but she would get such a big reaction out of my mother that some of the words persist on even ot this day, 1 1/2 years later, lol.

My 3 year old has really been into blood and killing lately. I have no idea why. Just a stage I think.

Elizabeth keeps threatening to hit people. She doesn't get spanked or hit and we don't talk like that so I ahve no clue where its coming from. Shes possessive about things that aren't even hers...for example, we were in Kohls yesterday and when we were leaving she threw a fit because she didn't want anyone else to get the cart she was sitting in. She told me if anyone came to get her cart she was going to hit them! I was shocked! I don't know where this is all coming from but I hope it ends soon. What happened to my baby????? :eyes:
