I know, I know.. "Not ANOTHER fs post!" *lol* Seriously.. I have good reason though.. I'm just in dire need of funds to help us by until Monday or Wednesday. DH went on three business trips this month, two unexpected, and we still haven't been paid back our expense check yet.. so we're down almost $5k (we WILL be paid this back just a matter of when!) and dh is in Georgia YET AGAIN and I need to get some money on paypal so he can eat while he's down there. *lol* His card is maxed out from all the flights/car rentals/hotel stays and his company is #&#$*& dragging their feet paying back our expenses. :wah:
Anyhow.. on to the fabrics. Please if my prices are too high, lmk. I'm just trying to get as much as I can, and I'm going off a faded memory on what some of these are going for now. PLEASE tell me if you think I am pricing too high. I will not be offended in the least! Thank you!
(ps if I get cut off and don't get to finish posting, I'll be back.. we're having horrible thunder storms, so you never know! *lol*)

See I checked ebay, and the last strawberry auction, it ended around that amount. :) The picnic is up now, and is at $10 a yard with three days left.. so I could probably ebay it.. but it's faster to just sell it here and save myself paying ebay's fees. :) Make me feel bad about selling my strawberries.. hard times I tell ya! Dh should be proud of me.. saving his butt like this. Ugh I won't get started on that. His work pisses me off. *lol*
Oh and carolinerenee.. you got it.. just have to change one thing.. I only have one yard of the strawberry gingham. I was mixing it up with the two yards of hygrangea gingham I have.. so is the one ok? :)
(more coming in a second!)

You're husband owes you some *serious* favors for getting rid of these great fabrics!

One yard of the gingham twill is even better than two, since I shouldn't be spending money on fabric at all.

This same thing happened to us Cheryl, when DH was in DC a few mos ago. Except it was made worse by the hotel hitting our debit card for a week's stay instead of the company card  There's no excuse for not reimbursing expenses quickly. He needs to call and tell them if they expect him to be at the meetings he needs his expenses direct deposited by tomorrow morning. They can call it an advance on expenses if they don't have the receipts yet. If they do internal payroll they can do it that quickly too. Mine called and said "Look, I need to eat and get gas to get to your &#%! meetings," LOL.
We have a friend who actually lost almost $30k in work expenses when they refused to reimburse. They just stalled, and stalled, and continued to send her on business trips. The bigger the amount got the more panicked they became (this was a pretty large, respected company too). One day she showed up late for work and they fired her. I don't think her attorney got the $ back either :(

Cheryl that really sucks. I can't resist the baby lulu - especially since you guys could use the cash. If noone buys it by noon, i will :)

All right, all right, I was holding out, but the lulu roses are just calling my name--its been on my iso list. Do you think you could ship them with my strawberries & gingham, or have they already gone?

As long as Alison is SURE she doesn't want them, I would be happy to send them to you. :D I didn't send yours out yet because I had to go to the PO this morning to pick up flat rate envies.. I was going to print out postage and stick them in my mailbox for pickup this afternoon.. I'm pretty sure the cheapest they all would ship would be flat rate box, but I can take the package to the PO and get it weighed to make sure. I would estimate it would ship at the 4lb rate. (meaning less than 4, but more than 3)
Oops.. guess not. If it ships at 4lbs (which I'm assuming it's less than that by a few oz) it would be $6.93 parcel post or $7.70 priority. I can take it in and weigh it.. just lmk. :) Darn I wish I had a scale! *lol*

Yes dh has an amex card too... but it's a personal card he opened JUST for business use. We don't use it for private use. We pay it off in full everymonth when he gets his expense check. However, because of the three trips in a 4 week time period, it's maxed out now, and they haven't paid us our expense for the first trip (which is like $2k or something like that) Not to mention the payment is due by the 14th, and IF they pay us the expense on Monday (it always comes through on a Monday) there is no way it will get there in time. So now I'm pissed that we're going to get finance charges on top of it. I told dh he better charge Sungard any finance charges we incur, cause that's just crappy.
Ok sorry.. :) I can shove this all in a flat rate, so $3.85 shipping plus $12.50 fabric.
Thank you!

Oops, just want to clarify--I'll pay the 7.70 so you don't have to make an extra trip to the post office.
The situation you are in just sucks. We still have expenses from over a year ago that haven't been reimbursed, but fortunately, DH rarely has to travel for his job, so they don't build up too much. I would be going to the higher ups about this one.
