I don't think anything can go right today!
First - made a shirt I love - tried it on, fit great, sleeves were exactly what I wanted, etc. Then I put the binding on the neck and sleeves, and I guess the stuff I used has NO recovery, so the neck and sleeves are all stretched out and wonky. So much, that I'm not sure washing it will fix it.
2nd, put the neckband on Kivett's shirt on backwards - didn't notice it until AFTER I had twin needle topstitched it. I'd start all over again to avoid seam ripping if I could, but I don't have enough fabric. And now I don't want to hem the other 2 shirts that are done except for that!
3rd - made skirt from a KS pattern I just bought. Perfect color for what I wanted, the skirt fit great, everything perfect!! Then I go iron it (to wear to church tonight - and we needed to leave in 10 min!!) and notice the 2 BIG crease/fade lines from where the fabric was folded on the back. So that skirt is trash basically. I'm going to try it in a dye bath with stuff that I'm dying a similar color, and hope it covers it.
4th - Remember the industrial machines dh bought me from work??? Well, the cops were at his work today. I guess the supervisor that was selling them didn't have permission to sell them. He got fired (and he has our money) and we have to return the machines. So not only do I not have the machines, we're not too hopeful of getting our money back either :wah:
