Has anybody heard of Keram Malicki-Sánchez/Blue Dog Pict? I am trying to find a place to hear more of their music, and hopefully see the video Tainted, but I am having no luck so far! I have seen and heard a little on the official website, but not enough to give me a good overview of what their music is like...
Keram also has a band Here There Be Monsters, which I also can't find any music of...ring any bells??
Come on, SOMEBODY has to have at least HEARD of them, right???? :D

Well, I found one song, which I fell in love with from the first couple of bars, and listened to over and over again just yesterday, prob at least 30 times ( I dunno, I just LOVE it!), but it is live from a show, and I don't know if it is Blue Dog Pict, or just Keram with one of his many other music projects. So far, nothing I have heard has been specifically Blue Dog Pict, and I really want to hear it, cause I have a feeling I will like it, but I don't want to go through all the trouble of tracking down a cd and buying it, if I don't actually like them.
I stuck pics of the dude in the Personal Forum in the eye candy thread, cause I do find him pretty attractive, but I want music, more. I am sick of the small amount of really good stuff I have to listen to, and want to expand my vocab! I have most of the new WS on my mp3 player, but that fills less than half of my playlist, and I want new blood! LOL
Here's the song: http://s28.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1FOY7WXZK1FPC0B7XG24WWKH3X
I dunno if you will like it, and the guy is DEF very strange, but for some reason I am addicted to it!
ETA, they are Canadian, with a strong following, but with underground, cult status, not so much widespread, so they are really hard to track down! It's getting really frustrating!

Yah, beautiful is the word that came to my mind...I saw him in the movie Global Heresy (Rock my? the? World, in the US), and man, he is pretty! But I was even more impressed when I saw the behind the scenes, and discovered he is a serious musician in his own right (he was playing a band member...all the guys in the band could really play except Alicia Silverstone, and it really showed). I will say, though, his acting didn't impress me...it was okay, but not stellar. But I like his music, and I DEF like his face, so I am okay! LOL
Here is his website http://www.constantchange.com...click on artists to bring up a list of his own bands, and a bunch of other projects he had a hand in...he is a music producer, too, or something like that.
Yeah, we need to talk! I keep planning on PMing you, and never quite get to it...of course, I just spent the last two days trawling the net, trying to find any info about that band, with almost no luck...sheesh...
Off to comment on your pics....

Nope..I don't even bother...N.A. tour dates don't even come close to Sydney, Aus, so I don't want to torture myself...it's too depressing! LOL

'kay, did you have a listen to that song I put up? Cause I am wondering if I have lost my mind! It is day, what, 3? since I got it...I have listened to it over and over and over again...to the exclusion of all else...even Jackie boy..I am chained to the stupid computer cause we don't have speakers on this one, and the other one is in the shop for repairs, and I have to listen to it..and when it ends, I start it again...I know the exact spot to the second on the iTunes player where the talking ends and the music begins...and I still start grinning like a fool, and bopping and tapping my foot the whole time!
There's something about how he sings...I love his diction, how he says things, and pacing...
Have I lost my mind? Have I lost it over an average song, or is it really as nice as I think it is? LOL

LOL, I keep planning on googling to find out wth it is...too funny!
I won't be upset if you don't like it; I like what I like, whether it is cool or not...much to dh's disgust, lol!
I found another place with a couple of songs, and I really like one of them; I think I am def going to buy an album:

I was listening to a recording of my dh singing, and realizing all over again how I really like that kind of choppy singing..some of my fav artists are Rob Thomas and Paul Simon, just for the way they sing, and now add Keram to the list. My dh sings like that, and I am soo in love with listening to him...
ETA You can c&p the link...it takes a little while to load, though, so give it time...

Huh...why didn't that other link make a hyperlink?
I uploaded a recording of Bali, my dh, singing, if you want to have a listen...It's not singing, like a song; it's a recording of what I guess could be called worship services, but not like any you would have heard before, lol! Don't worry, it's not anything subliminal trying to convert you or anything, but it's fun to listen to! :D

ETA Oh, ignore the bell sound..it's not part of the band playing, it's part of the artik ceremony, offering to the Lord...most of the time it's not in time to the music.

we can talk more about that privately if you like.
your dh sounds wonderful!!!!! really, he does! does he sing often?
the more i think/listen about/to keram he kind of reminds me of that catchy ~ choppy ~ canadian ~ Bare Naked Ladies...lol, have you heard them?
