We had a SOAA challenge in which we sent each other a yard of fabric that had to be made into something to auction. Jeni sent me this yellow cotton that had a slight texture to it. It was a vintage fabric from her grandma's stash. I paired it with a vintage thick cotton I picked up at the Goodwill store. They both have the same yellow in them.
This was so much fun, because it really made me stretch my creativity a bit. I know the pom-poms aren't something unique for me, but just using someone else's fabric, and it not being something I would have necessarily picked made it hard but FUN!!! I ended up LOVING this set. It is really cheerful, and I can't wait for the next challenge! (pics taken at m-i-l's house)
