How old were you when you first went to church,synagogue(sp), temple Etc and what type of "religion" was it?

What kind of game is this? (don't know what the letters mean)

I was a little one...before I can remember.....and it was the Presbyterian Church. Edited to add: Christian mainstream-maybe-a-bit-left-liberal-leaning-denomination within Christianity.

My parents had something to prove to the social worker & system right before and shortly after my adoption. So the first church I attended was a Unitarian church. I was only a baby & can't remember it. They had some type of presentation ceremony for me.
I went to Catholic church growing up on and off when I'd spend the night with my friends. I didn't mind that. Once I took communion because I was curious to see what it tasted like & most everyone else was doing it. Whooops guess that was a huge no no.
Another time that I remember going to church until about age 9 or 10 my mom and I went with a friend of hers. People were going up to the pulpit and acting very strangely (at least to me and my young & naive mind). I got really light headed and had to excuse myself outside and threw up. No one even cared or asked if I was ok. We never went back.

How do you worship?

With/at Episcopal church but more importantly to me, trying to worship God through my daily actions/choices/mindset etc...I think that kind of personal worship is more lifechanging and important for me personally speaking.

I have been trying desperately to do a daily bible devotional every day when my kids nap. Sometimes it doesn't happen tho so I have been praying during workouts! lol . and meditating/praying a certain prayer or devotion during that time. Lately I"ve also been playing worship music in the house so even while I'm cleaning I can be thinking of and praising the Lord

I actually am a Jewish Christian (for lack of a better 'label' and not wanting to get into debate with anyone) so i find wisdom and find myself studying old and new testament

I was born Catholic and raised Catholic. I was baptized at less than a month old and really never stopped. I have changed churches within the Catholic church and am now Byzantine Catholic (Orthodox in communion with Rome). It's a long story and Pm if you really want to know what that means. We worship using the Divine Litrugy of St. John Chrysostom, an ancient form of liturgical worship that is chanted. It's about and hour an a half of chanting and praying and is quite beautiful if you can deal with repitition. I don't spend as much time in daily prayers as i would like, but I do greet God every morning when I see the beautiful sunrise on my way in to work.
My question for you all: Why do you like the spiritual path you are on? If you don't, why not?

I was an infant -- it was a Southern Baptist Church.

I never was baptised, nor joined the church, and quit attending when I was about 8 years old.

Absoultely! I am constantly being molded and learning who I am, who God is and who I am in God. Its very mind-boggling and very humbling. I am a person of many (many!) mistakes and I have to remember that my blessings are not for me, but for the glory of God.

I did. It was more powerful than I thought it would be, but it was surprising to me that I was not overwhelming upset to see Jesus suffering. I really felt very grateful more than anything else. The only part that made me cry was when Jesus fell carrying the cross, and Mary was remembering when Jesus was little. I think as a mother that really affected me. I can't imagine how hard it must be to see your child suffer like that. Also, the garden scene really made me think about Jesus's humanity. It never really crossed my mind before that Jesus might actually be scared to die. I guess I had always thought of Jesus as being very serious and stoic about the whole thing. The garden scene made me think about the fact that Jesus was a human and had emotions just like us.

What is your favorite religious/spiritual ritual?

Yes, I went to see it in the theater. I have mixed feelings on it. It wasn't spiritually nor emotionally moving to me -- which I expected it to at least be emotionally, but it wasn't. At all. To be honest I felt it was just so over the top that the message somehow all got lost.

My father who is a S.Baptist actually walked out of the theater during it. He hated it.

What is your favorite religious/spiritual ritual?

Within Pellorys we have a ritual of sorts that can be done daily, and really is used in almost all bigger rituals -- its what we call "finding the Quiet."

I enjoy this most of all as I end up feeling the most centered, aware, alive and fully connected aftering doing this practice/ritual/meditation.
