I've been nervous to step on the scale. I've heard of people being like 10 pounds up after surgery because of swelling and stuff. That would really depress me. However on day 2 with all my clothes on, full drains and a full pain pump attached to me I got on the scale and I was 5 pounds down! Hoping when all is done I'll be like 15 pounds down (145) then lose the last 10 with more diet and excersise. :)

The TT and all the lipo was $12K total. I think for just the TT it would have been $9800 with my surgeon. I don't know exactly how much he took off the tummy or in lipo yet. I asked him today at my 3rd visit with him since the surgery and he said it was a lot and he did measure and note it all but the notes hadn't been typed up yet. It was just me and him in his office today since it's Sunday. I see him again Wednesday and he said he'll tell me then. :) Can't wait to find out.

Kori you look great in such a short amount of time. Can you imagine when your really healed? Your doctor did such a good job. I am so happy for you that you achieved such amazing results. You were a beautiful mama before surgery but I think the surgery took years off your body. It must be a wonderful feeling even with all that pain. Thanks for being brave enough to share such a personal experience.

Wow Kori, looks great! I'm really surprised at how little bruising and swelling you have. Goodness, I looked like a burned marshmallow after my last 2 c-sec, :lol:

I could use a tummy tuck myself (baby number three did my skin elasticity in!)

I knew someone who tried like CRAZY to get her tummy flat after her three kids and just couldn't. She went in for a tummy tuck and the surgeon found a benign tumor the size of a grapefruit in her!

I haven't tried on pants yet, maybe in a few days. My doctor told me I still am very swollen too. I'm also going to be wearing this compression garmet for a couple months so I'll mostly be wearing loose yoga pants and skirts. I'm thinking I'll see the final result in July.

The first couple days were very painful when I wasn't drugged up. I'm still having pain but it's not constant or as strong.

I'm glad everything went so well! *hugs* I was thinking of you.
