We just moved to OH a couple of months ago while dh is in Korea for the year. My mom found us this house, which hadn't been lived in for about 3 years. We absolutely love the yard. We're out in the country, and they have so much room to roam now. We also have a creek across the road that we will be visiting often this summer to cool our toes and to explore creek life.

Anyway - these are pictures of our yard today. And here's an open invitation... if you would like to come and visit us, please do! I love having company, and the kids would all be able to run, play and just have a grand time while the mamas sip coffee, tea, pop, water, whatever (or wine!) on the porch. So, there is an open invite to all yuo sewing mamas. (does that make this a little on topic?)

This is Nathan and Lauren in our new herb and veggie garden. I have a bunch of different herbs in there (cilantro, parsley, oregano, thyme, lavender, rosemary, etc) and then some tomaoes and peppers, watermelon, canteloupe and strawberries.

Looks like a piece of Heaven. How nice that you get to live in a nice place while your dh is away. This is going to be a tough year, but thank goodness you can enjoy your lovely home and awesome surroundings.

I am *JEALOUS* and would love to have so much "elbow room". If I was closer, I would be a daily visitor. :) I want to move back to the Midwest where people call Diet Coke "pop" not "soda". LOL :)

Wow, a nice house and big yard, looks great Heather. At least you will have family nearby and a comfortable place while you are waiting for dh to get back.

Erin, omg.. I didn't even think abuot the fact that I was calling it pop and not soda. lol I grew up in PA (near Erie) and we always called it pop. Other parts of PA call is soda, but not us. It's nice being back to an area where people know what I am talking about when I say pop! lol

Angela, PLEASE come up that weekend. (or during the week, whatever works). I desperately need some mama companionship. The kids will have a great time!!!

And thanks everyone about the compliments of our yard. It's so lush and green right now it is just beautiful. And the elbow room is really good for us... really good.

Wow! What a great yard! I bet the kids are loving it. So much room to run and play.(it's gotta be at least five times the size of your yard you had here!)
