how did i come across the thread (http://www.amitymama.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=49570&stc=1) about this? was it recent or was i looking way back???
at any rate, it was awesome to find and I wanted to try it right THEN, but since it was after midnight, thought it better to sleep first. ;)
So, today, it was on my to-do list.
the rest of that list, btw, was: finish dh's pajama shorts for his bday TOMORROW, and make a tutu for my cousin who will be 4 at the end of the month, and try to make a pair of wrap pants (http://www.amitymama.com/vb/showthread.php?t=149285&highlight=wrap+pants) .

tutu - well, the gathering part is done and i'm making the waist like an apron so they can tie it on and adjust the size as needed.
wrap pants - getting directions now
and.... the bandana pants are:
capris for my 5yo:
