Yes, yes ... I'm still on the bag kick. :p
I finally got my internet connection back today, so I got to list again & check the boards! Yay!! :)

First up, the Mexico bag. I used some of my treasured vintage Mexican folk art fabric for the body, black twill for the bottom & the top. I'm really in love with this, but my pics didn't turn out very good. I really need to work on lighting & angles so the whole thing shows, but that's another forum. ;)

And I'm slowly working my way through all the colorways of Amy Butler's "Charm". :rainbow: I *so* love the whole line!!
For this one, I used a new "vintage style" brooch for the loop closure--I'm loving it! The zest colorway is so summery--I love the blues in this.

And a close-up of the brooch just because ...

Thanks for letting me share!

I was just looking at these on Ebay and drooling. Your bags are so so nice!

Are you taking special orders?

Beautiful Julia:) I really love the sweetheart purses you are doing. I'm in need of a new purse for myself. If you are/will be selling the pattern soon, I would love one (for personal use only).
Great work!!

Wow, sister dear, those did turn out gorgeous. Looks like you've finally realized your dream of being a bag lady! :smirk:

And a funny aside for the rest of you who didn't have the priveledge of growing up with her: When O./J. was a teen, she honestly did aspire to be a bag lady. She had an *enormous* collection of shopping bags, collected from all over the world, that she planned to use in her "career". Not quite the same thing, but I think she's officially made it to "Bag Lady" status finally, huh? :)

Thanks mamas!
This bag thing is becoming an obsession ... when I look at my stash now, all I see is bag fabric. It's crazy! :p
The brooch is from JoAnn's. They had a *lot* of really great looking styles, so I had to pick up a few. lol!

Kim--I'm going to Moses Lake today so I can copy the repair manual ... I promise I didn't forget!! :D
