What's the secret to making sure all the little red specks are completely dissolved? I just dyed a pair of short dark brown and thought I had all the dye dissovled, but when I took them out I found some red spots still. :wah:

Your dye isn't getting dissolved all the way. How are you mixing it? I like to put mine a mason jar with a nice tight lid and shake shake shake shake shake. Everytime I do otherwise (and think I'm doing okay), I always get splotches. :rolleyes:

I put the dye in a small bowl with a little water and mixed it forever. I'll have to try the jar method next time. Thanks for the info!!
