what the heck! We just spent the weekend in VT at my inlaws house..lots of friends and family there for my niece's 1st birthday party....I can't tell you how many people asked me if she was a "good" baby....umm what the heck does that mean? then they proceed to ask me if she sleeps thru the night for me...answer?..a HUGE no! but does that mean Ellery's a bad baby!? Couldn't they ask if she's smiling yet? do the kids love her? how are you doing? nooooooooooooooooo...they all asked the same ?.

oh yeah...when i took savannah on a trip to visit my dad's mom and family (long drive in the car...8 hours) at 3 months old...she was not happy to be there and cried a lot. they said "oh she must have THE COLIC"...yeah they called it "the colic"....hmmmphhhfff..whatever.
