I weighed Rónán and he weighs 8# even at 19 days old. He was 6# 15 oz at birth.

I think some are faster gainers. Mine tend to be FAT fast, but then gain very little weight for 6 or 7 months. Sylvie was 7 lb 2 oz at birth, but already 9 lb 14 oz at 3 weeks and 3 days. However, she does not look like she has gained that much more for two weeks. I think they all do it differently. Still, I totally get patting ourselves on the back when we have these breastfed fatties. :) Congratulations on your little chubbins, Julie!

lol i weighed simon on thursday-- he was 12lbs 11oz. I think he is going to be on the same curve as Liam. Liam gained a lb a week until he was around 5m old.
I looove those fat little cheeks they get though :) I bet he is adorable! We all need to post pics soon!

:drop: WOW! Is he *constantly* at the boob!?!?!?! My ds gained quick like that too, I was his personal pacifier LOL...a boy thing? I'm just so used to this peanut!
I'll bet he feels nice and solid! *snuggle*
