How hideous would that bright knit pirate fabric from fabric.com would be - here's a picture. I have enough of that to do curtains, dust ruffle, duvet cover. Plus I have a TON of solids in red, orange, yellow, black that coordinate for the curtains and dust ruffle, or whatever. So would that be hideous??

It popped in my head because I have a lot more fabric to work with than the plaid. With the plaid one, I just love that fabric, but I think I'm going to have to go buy more to get it to work and dh is gonna kill me if I bring anymore fabric in this house, lol.

How about a solid color fabric for the main parts of the ensemble and then accents with the pirates? You could do some patches on the curtains, make some pillows, etc.

That was my other thought... I think you'd be better off keeping it on the more neutral side of bright. ROFL

lol, I'm thinking it's too bright too, so I've found some other stuff to go with the plaid so I think I can get everything I need. I'm working on it now. I'll take pics when I'm done.
