You'll do fine! I remember the day my mom left after Ian was born. For about 20 minutes after she left, I sat in the rocking chair holding Ian and watching Brendan (then 2) who was probably watching TV and I just cried. I was so scared, LOL. But we did okay, and I know you will do great! Just remember that taking care of those beautiful children is your first priority and it is okay if things don't get cleaned like you are used to for awhile!
Now, you have to come back and remind me about this post in a few weeks when I am trying to figure out HOW I am going to take care of 3 by myself, LOL.

YOu will be fine.
*gets out the pom poms*
You Can Do It!!!
If you have a hard moment you can always call your DH or mom or any of your friends. A pep talk midday usually helps me.

I remember after I had my second...that was scary--especially going out with 2! LOL!!
Now--heck, DH went back to work the day after we came home this past time! It gets easier!

well...i made it!
the morning went really well. i washed and dried 2 loads of laundry. still need to iron the hanging clothes. i laid jackson down for his naps and paid attention to savannah. we played together...and she seemed to appreciate that.
i didn't get any breakfast..but i had a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch.
but...around 1:30 i hit a wall. i thought i was going to pass out from being so tired. oh man i was sleepy. i got savannah to take a nap at 1:45 and i laid down with jackson on my chest for a nap. i slept for about an hour before he was hungry again.
that was sooo worth it.
fortunately dinner was a frozen meal that someone had made before jackson was born. had some salads already made and ready to eat in the fridge..
joe took savannah for a walk when he got home and i got to nurse jackson in peace for about 30 minutes.
whew..i'm tired...and dh wants some lovin' tonight...oh boy.
one day down....

Uterine contractions are good for a girl recovering.
If you need internals to get them or if its the only thing you do... you are not doing it right.

we waited 11 days this time for internals (as you put it) .... i had no stitches or tears.....
the full 6 weeks after cole <freaky 1st time mom>....(but earlier for the "uterine contractions" & servicing dh) had a couple of stitches

well..i had a second degree tear since i have such freakin' thin skin!!! so...we'll be waiting a bit longer. had a second degree tear before and it was a killer for months and months and months.
