DD will wear this to our Mother's Tea tomorrow. She says it's "dumb", but now refuses to take it off so I can take close-ups of my wonky topstitching.

Now my oldest DD is harassing me to make her some uniform skirts like this! (great idea!) :) I'm going to try to make a headband, shirt to match for me, and something for Faith so we can all be matchy-matchy.

The gorgeous fabric is Sweet Potatoes (!!!) "Loopy Flowers" cotton/lycra my sister found at JA for me!!! Thanks Colleen! :heart:
Shirt is KSFT raglan, and the skirt, of course, is CheekyBaby's sew along...and was SO fun to make, a little tough for me (esp. w/ baby in sling!), but fun!

The one I did was roughly based on Jayme/dehart's pattern. Look in the sew along forum and you will see her sew along for a dress w/ a tank bodice. FOE works great and makes it easier. Using self fabric binding really made me want the babylock coverhemmer.
