Just going to share a couple. My mom's computer doesn't have good editing software, so these are really grainy.
First is me, Shannon, Suzanne, Shelia and Jayme. The second is Suzanne lounging on the fabric Shannon, Suz and I bought. Yes, all those black bags are fabric :shake: The sad thing is Suz left about 600 yds behind to be shipped!

I'm so jealous! :tear: Looks like you guys had a great time!
AND I could *swear* that there's a bolt of fabric just behind you (Allison) that is the same as Suz's skirt. Am I imagining this?
I'm so jeaolous & I can't believe you all didn't invite me! :shake:
;) I'm SO there next time!

Nope, you are right. Except hers is a heavier weight. I bought some of that one. The one that Shelia is hugging is the cord that I made my jacket out of. It was in the car.
Average price really depends. The cheapest yardage we bought that day was .80 (cotton velour), the most expensive was $6 (silk dupioni). Most was $1 - $2 though.
I had brought a list of things I wanted to buy and I found all of them :cuc:

That first photo is one that could be used to show how sewing is for hip, young, beautiful women these days!

Lol! Yes, I am hugging it! I just really like that one. I think it was my favorite one from the trip. I was going to sell some but I don't think I can part with any of it right now.
Allison, where are you now? Have you left CA?
It was a really fun day! Let's do it again soon.

My sewing room may never recover. Between Baby Lulu, Baby Nay and this trip... sigh... It was a lot of fun but I am feeling overwhelmed with all the fabric. Did I mention that EvieJean and I went back on Saturday because I goofed cutting something out and had to get another piece.

So, was this a big sale weekend or is there always good deals like that? If there's always cool deals, I'm moving to CA. lol I go to the NY fabric district but everything is way expensive. :tear: I'm jealous of you guys always getting cool fabrics and having so many Hancock fabrics there when i only have 2 measly ones here and 1 of them has a bunch of airheads that don't know what knit is. So I'm going to Cape Cod this Sumer, anyone know if there's any cool fabric stores around there? My SO will leave me there if I make him go fabric shopping on vacation LOL

:cuc: I might be- but will have kid's underfoot.
Do you have any more of those jeans buttons? I would take some off your hands on Tuesday if you do. Oh, but then again, if I do go downtown again I can get my own!! ;)

I'd still like to do M&L on tuesday with Rolie but we have to wait and see if we have the pox. Call me a terrible mother, but I'm not going to stay home for three weeks waiting to see *if* he gets it. Obviously if he gets it I can't come.

Ok - I'm coming Tuesday - just got the official word :0) I'm not spending the night though...so it will be a quickie trip. I'll have Emma too...I may save M & L for another day...when Emma can stay with my folks. Of course...if you all decide to go, I wouldn't have a problem, lol!
