You have to be careful with Bev's Very Easy Booties. There is a mistake in the pattern; unfortunately I never remember it when I'm not actually making them. :o (It's obvious when you get to it, though.)
Check out www.stitchguide.com for video clips of the various stitches. Short refresher course:
ch=chain stitch
ss=slip stitch (also slst)
sc=single crochet
hdc=half-double crochet
dc=double crochet
tr=treble crochet
Remember that unless the pattern states otherwise, the turning chain at the beginning of the row counts as the first stitch (except for with single crochet).
And always count your stitches. :)

Thanks, i will most deff check that out...im totally braindead when it comes to whatever the directions say lol...I remember granny saying count the stitches...dern it, guess its true lol...
