i've been totally stoked about having a baby.
i found out i was having a boy...and i knew dh would be so fired up. i already had a girl and thought it would be cool to have one of both.
but....today....i looked at him and thought "i'm SOOO glad i have a baby boy"
it was just the greatest feeling that came over me. he's so amazing and i can't wait to fall even more in love with him!

My second ds is 7.5 weeks. I was dissapointed that I don;t have a girl. But the last few weeks I've been loving having 2 boys more & more. :)

sweet!
i cried the day i realized that i loved journey not more than or the same as cole, but that i loved her differently. i have heard other moms say that before i had dd, but the day my heart realized it i just cried---happy tears. it's not that i love one more or less, it was just overwhelming to realize how much love i have for each & that it felt different for dd than for ds.....making any sense at all??

I had a bit of an adjustment after Anders was born... I didn't bond right away, and I think that I had been harboring thoughts that he was a girl, and I really wanted a girl. Then, suddenly, probably when he was 4 weeks old or so, I went from loving him to completely totally in love with him, and with having 2 boys. And I haven't stopped yet! Congrats on your boy!

ya know...when my son was born (many years ago...I shoudl say son # 1 because I have 4 sons) but when he was born, I was the most elated woman on this planet.
The bond was deep and intense and I wanted to teach him so much.
Sons are so special...daughters are too and I especially enjoy my 21 and 14 year old ...and of course Olivia:)
I am babbling here....sorry....I can relate to your feelin..remembering 18+years ago what it felt like to be the mother of a son.
Be blessed mama!
