So you mentioned on the supercrunch bd that you knitted napkins on larger needles. I'm intrigued. :) What size needles did you use? I'm assuming cotton yarn, right? I'd love to see a pic if it's not too much trouble.

I saw a big cone of natural colored cotton with specks of pastel colors here and there when I was last at hobby lobby. It caught my eye but I didn't have a need for it so I didn't buy it. Might make good napkins though :)

As for dishcloths... I've made some on size 8 needles. I have one in the works on size 7 needles...it's taking too long. Good thing it's pretty yarn (variegated purples and blues) or else I'd probably give up on it. I have a cotton baby sweater in the works on size 9s right now and it's going super fast. The 9s are definitely not too large for dishcloths. 10s might even be ok...I just haven't tried cotton yarn on 10s yet. (maybe someone else has and could comment...)

Sorry to take so long to get back. We have been through a yucky virus this week.

I knit them on 10s. The yarn calls for 8s , I think. I think 11s would be too big. This is the Sugar and Cream (I think thats the name) from ACMoore. I am going to knit some on 8s or 9s for dish rags though. I think the 10s make them too loose for that. I do like them for washcloths though. They are a quick knit and about 5 to 10 rows in, I do a yarn over knit 2 together for some open work. I would not do that on dishrags either though. I also to that about 10 to 5 rows from the other edge when finishing. I will try to get a pic of one.

Natural with flecks would make beautiful napkins.
