Update: After five e-mails and almost a month, I *finally* got it today! We're in the same state, so I'm not sure what the big delay was about. Anyway, I'm happy to have finally received my merchandise but I won't be ordering from him again. Just thought I should update that I did get my item.

------------------------------------

I wanted to warn you guys so no one else would get taken by this eBay seller. He sells needles, bobbins and sewing machine feet on eBay. He has wonderful feedback, so I was not concerned when I purchased an item with BIN from him.

I paid immediately via PayPal. When it didn't arrive after two weeks I e-mailed him and he promptly replied, saying he hadn't received notification of my payment from PayPal  and that he'd send it out quickly. I never got it. He's now ignoring my e-mails, although he has plenty of time to add new listings and leave feedback for other people :shake:

So, beware of eBay seller dafent. I wasn't concerned because of his good feedback, guess that doesn't always mean much :(

Oh no! I just did a bin for two feet from him last week.

Did you report him to Ebay? or paypal? I hope you can get your money back.

And thanks for the warning, I was thinking of ordering bobbins too.

Did you get your stuff from him yet? It seems lots of people have had great transactions with him, which is one reason this is so puzzling. I've been nothing but patient and courteous with him :(

I'm going to give him until the very end before I file with PayPal. He's left retaliatory negatives (wish I'd noticed that before, it's a huge red flag) so I'm going to wait until the very last minute to leave negative feedback - if it comes to that.

If he makes good I'll definitely update this post. Thankfully I'm not out much money, it's just disappointing :(

Sounds like the ebay guy that did this to a friend. He told her that he would leave negative feedback if she reported him to ebay or filed with paypal.

You can bet I'll be reporting him to eBay and PayPal as soon as it's too late for him to leave me fb ;)

I've bought bobbins from him twice and had great transactions both times. :)

I know I've bought from him as well and had a smooth transaction. Sorry he's not doing right by you Faith.

That sucks faith! I remember looking at his stuff when I was looking for a teflon foot for my kenmore. But I found it cheaper with another seller so I didnt buy from him. Sorry you are having a hard time!

:ditto: Though I will say that it did take a long time to get my "Big foot" (I *think* that's what I bought from him)--and he did lie about when he sent it out IIRC...

That stinks! I've bought two bundles of bobbins from him before and never had a problem, although the most recent transaction was extremely slow ~ espcially considering it's coming from somewhere in Texas, if I remember correctly.

Sorry about the terrible transaction.

I'm glad you got your stuff finally. Kind of defeats the purpose of the BIN when it takes so long doesn't it?
