First up are a couple of Jayme based dresses for Dani:

The PRR stripes one is what I like to call "that dress that probably wasnt meant to be." It took forever to make the binding, I serged a hole in the bodice when securing the skirt, then as soon as she wore it, Dani spilled vanilla extract down the front of it (note to self: buy a lock for the pantry  ). Thankfully it came clean because Id really like to others to see how the stripes line up almost perfectly (a huge accomplishment for me - lol)

Next up is a twin-sized flannel rag quilt for Lukes trailer bed:

I dont know how others have made larger quilts. The clipping on this one about knocked me over the edge and I still have one to do for Dani *sigh*.

Thanks for looking :)

The Jayme dresses are adorable, I love love the striped one. The rag quilt is super cute, I made one about a twin size and that'll probably be the last one for a loooooonnnnnggggg time,. One thing I found that helped were those Fisker, or whatever the brandname is, sissors, the ones w/the little pointy blades helped a ton.

Everything looks fabulous!! I love the stripe dress--can't see any boo-boos from here :D Great rag quilt too--Katie clips them for me, you just need to have a couple more kids to do those tedious chores

The quilt looks great! Furby has two of those prints in his rag quilt. I have another quilt on my list, too. I really really like the little spring loaded Fiskars for clipping mine.

The rag quilt looks great. My mother bought these little spring loaded rag quilt scissors at the quilt store that help quite a bit.

I love the Jayme dresses too. Those are on my list of things I want to try.

Very cute stuff, love the PRR dress especially. Kudos on the rag quilt. I agree with Becka, those Fiskars handle scissors make life much easier!

Cute dresses! I love rag quilts and they do tend to get a bit tedious with all that clipping. I have a pair of spring loaded scissors that are meant for rag quilting. I got them at Joanns with my coupon. They are Fiskars but has a short blunt blade on them, can't remember what they call them but they are made specifically for rag quilting. Love all the gadgets :)

it all came out great!

I used a surgical seam ripper on mine. Well actually I started with scissors and decided it was for the birds so switched to the seam ripper. Stuck the point in and pulled up.

OH the dresses are cute :)

Love rag quilts. I'd recommend the fiskars scissors but I think it might have already been mentioned :P

Thanks, ladies :)

Thanks for all the recommendations on scissors - I actually bought them before starting the quilt because I heard they were really helpful. Oh, what a difference!
