I am kind of going through my personal retro period. The hits of my life as it were...

The Jam
The Alarm
The Three O'Clock
The Replacements
Gang of Four
The Pixies
The Clash
Neil Young
Beck
Bikini Kill
Elliott Smith
Some Velvet Sidewalk
Cherry Poppin' Daddies

All on heavy rotation in my i-tunes. (with a heavy serving of Jack of course ;) )

hey if you have any Daddies saved & sendable...hook me up! :)

my heart is true to jack...lol! although beck, jack johnson, & the soledad brothers are slowly taking over a small part. :hbeat:

I'll send you some daddies later today. I used to date Dan (the tall gangly bass player) waaaaaaaaay back in college. Talk about wild days.... :drop:

My own playlist is waaaay too uncool...I am only just getting into the kind of music WS is usually associated with, and even then, I still don't know anybody. I know I like a few people, but I have no names memorized yet. I think we are overlapping circles, in terms of our styles, and we meet up with the WS! LOL

If anybody wants to suggest any bands to me, I am open to it! To give you a slight idea of my tastes, my fav WS songs are Hotel Yorba, One More Cup of Coffee, I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself, Apple Blossom...umm...I know there is more, but I am blanking. Those are the ones that are on my current playlist right now, though, and I haven't updated it in ages!

Oh, Jack Johnson, I have started to get into him a bit. Funny thing, he is a local boy in Hawaii, from the North Shore, and he came over and did this huge Kokua Festival, featuring local artists, and everybody was making a big deal about him, while I was Who?? Now that I am out in the world (Hawaii is it's own planet..), I am discovering he actually IS something, LOL! I really like the way he does vocals and acoustical...sounds really nice.

Am starting to wonder about Beck, since seeing him everywhere, and since he worked with Jack, but I don't know much about him, being pretty much radio free for years!

I am trying to think of what's in my CD player and little CD holder in the car...
Wilco
Whiskeytown
Aimee Mann
Doc Watson (Henry's favorite)
Paul Simon (our birthing music)
Belle & Sebastian
Yo La Tengo
Radiohead
The Flaming Lips (I  Wayne Coyne)
Digable Planets (old skool, baby)
Tom Waits
Gomez

...and my beloved but embarrassing JT, lol.
