I am so excited about my new machine! I have finally gotten some time to work on it and it sews like its going through butter! I LOVE it... I find myself sewing in my free time instead of forcing myself to get through projects... I just LOVE that!

Very nice Val! I'm glad you're enjoying your new machine. I know exactly what you mean about enjoying sewing again. It's amazing how a new machine replenishes your creativity by making sewing fun.

I got an Elna 6600. It is beautiful and runs like a dream. I am still amazed at some of the things it can do (and also some of the things I don't use more often) and still getting used to it. I never got my class on it, because of the move... but I am planning on going up there and talking to them about that. It is just a 45 minute drive from here, and doesn't seem worth it when I don't have time away from my youngest ever.
I am just in love with this pattern that I created. I have been really proud of myself with it, and I have adjusted it a few times and they have all turned out comfortable and still look great on the kids.
Last year everyone wanted 3/4, this year everyone wants 5/6... and I made 2/3/4... lol... I guess I should have thought of that. :D My dd is now in a 4 long, and I would most likely buy a 5 if buying from someone online. ;)
