I'm really sorry :( I'm running behind on getting these done. By hook or by crook I'll get them in the mail tomorrow am.

They are heart-shaped potholders (in case the pic doesn't work) and I'm *trying* to use a 1/4" double fold bias tape to bind the edges. I can't get it to work - looks fine on the front but then on the back it gets missed in spots. Any tips on how to apply this more easily?

(BTW, the color is way off in the pic. The rug is actually sage green and the potholder colors are a dark red/berry color.)

Those are darling! The trick with the binding is to use the slightly thinnner side on the top, where you're sewing. If you unfold the tape in the middle, you'll see that one side is a wee bit wider than the other. Use the wider part on the side that you can't see when you're sewing. If you sew the thinner side on the top, you're guaranteed to catch the other side. :)
