Trace and paint and sew and show that is :)
Between having a baby, toddler, and preschooler and working on our home and property I haven't had much time to sew lately other than making a couple of boring receiving blankets.
I made this for the midwives at the birth center where Gwenny was born so that they could advertise in parades. It took about 10 hours to make. I traced the logo and words on the duckcloth using an overhead projector at Terry's school and then spent seven tedious hours painting and repainting the design since the green bled through the white paint.
I am pretty happy with it and I hope they are too. They are wonderful women and I feel honored to be able to help them out.
By the way I am not naked behind the banner. Dh says I look like I am but I am just enjoying our first day of short wearing weather in Michigan (it is 78 degrees :) )
Thanks for looking.
