I'm really sorry for all the pictures but I couldn't get the details w/just one pic each. 6 outfits I've done this past month. All 6 are Jayme dress tops and a burda pattern for the capris. Both patterns have been altered in different ways for all 6.
First Munki tulips and Joanns stretch poplin, we've gotten so many compliments on this outfit, just random people walking up to me and asking where I got it, I even had one lady who sews childrens clothing for a local boutique ask me if I wanted to sew for her, lol, the ultimate compliment, anyway enough bragging;)

Next, Munki callipso(sp?) wide legged capri pants and Joanns white cotton/lycra rib knit.

Not Munki but the same style outfit capri pants and egyptian cotton from Joanns, oh and the applique is not the best so that's why there's no closeup:D oh and I have a matching skirt I made for myself last year.
http://shim1.shutterfly.com/procsserv/F-CMXDhi0atGFnghL_oj8-
Next, Munki gnomes (which I didn't even like until I saw all the adorable outfits everyone was making w/it). Wide legged capris, Joanns c/l rib knit and again, no close up applique is not the best.

Modeled.

Another (sorry couldn't help it;)
http://shim1.shutterfly.com/procsserv/F-CMXDhi0atGFnYhL_oj8w
Last, my favorite, Munki fireflies and JA's egyptian cotton, this one I made the top a little longer than I planned so I did a casing and put elastic at the leg opening on the pants because it looked a little weird w/the wide legged pants and the longer, almost a dress top. All the binding has a decorative stitch and I used the same stitch to topstich where the ruffle met the top. The hem on the ruffle has a scalloped dec stitch. I love how this turned out

And since I've already overloaded this post, can I share one more picture, this is Emma and our German Shepherd, Bastian, we got when she was 2 months old, I can never get both of them to sit still at the same time so I have very few pictures of both of them, they're the best of friends and this picture turned out so cute.

Thanks for looking, sorry for all the pictures.

Wow!! They all look great--so inspirational! That firefly outfit is tdf.
Did you use a pattern for your wide legged capris? They're great! I'm still waffling on whether I can cut my munki pool ... maybe if I had the perfect capri pattern ... lol!

It's Burda 9829, long pants and a bunch of other stuff. The pants pattern is a straight leg pattern, what I did was took my clear ruler, measured out an inch at the bottom of the leg, tapered it back to about 1/2 in when I got to the top. I did this for both the front and the back pieces so I ended up w/each leg being 2 inches wider at the bottom. I'm also using a 3T pattern and Emmas a 4T, which is why I had the additional 1/2 at the waist, plus I was going for the boxy baggy look:) HTH

OMG so inspiring! I love just everything, everything! The fireflies is so cute! I have a lot of those same fabrics set out to make Sopihie a bunch of capris ~ I swear! LOL I wasn't planning on doing shirts, but I just might now. ;)
PS What is Joann's Egyptian cotton and where is it located in the store? I'm almost sure my own doesn't have it but I'm headed to another store tonight, maybe they do. :)

Thank you, she's in a 4T:)
I still cannot believe how much she and Alex look alike....even the build is similar. Alex is about 3 months older I believe is in at 4T to 5T depending on what it is. I sent my mother a link to one of your posts and she called me to ask who the little girl who looked just like Alex was. She said at first she thought it was Alex, but its rather cold here right now and not at all summer weather so then she wasn't sure and they are a bit different....
I really would love to see them side by side.

Oh wow...I always love looking at your SNS...they are soooooooo beautiful!!! Really...I love everything...you gave me some great ideas!! That style of shirt would fit my Emma really well :0) I like the embroidered straps on the fireflies set and all the appliques :drop:
They are adorable outfits. :) My favorite is the firefly one, that one is just SO sweet.
And I love that pic of your dd and your dog. What a sweet twosome they are! Looks like one to be framed. :)

Meagan~It's w/the solids usually on the top row, our new one doesn't have very many colors or they might just be sold out of alot of them but the older Etc. store here has a bunch, 10 or 15 colors. I think it's $6.99 or 7.99 a yard, it's kinda crisp looking and is really smooth at the same time, it also hangs really great (does that make any sense, lol???)

I can see why the boutique owner asked you to sew for her, your outfits look so professional! They all look great! I used to think some of that Munki was ugly until now. :p You have made me see the light!! :D

Meagan~It's w/the solids usually on the top row,
Thanks, I'll check tonight. Do you mean that they're near the muslins though, when you say "top row"?
Oh and I swear to you, I have the fireflies, pool, and calypso set out to makes Sophie clothes! I deemed today and the next four days "sew for us" because I have 8 million diapers to do from my stocking and I cannot even *think* about it until I have sheers on my bedroom windows and a shower curtain in the bathroom. And then I went and cut the first of the bedroom sheers too short. blah. :tear:
Sorry for hijacking your thread.

Me too, I'd love to see them side by side, but oh the trouble they could cause together  I think that's part of the amazement, not only do they look alike but they have the same build. Emma's bigger than every kid her age and even older kids, she's kinda chubby but has slimmed down a bit this past year, and she's pretty tall for her age.

LOL, I remember you talking about using the calypso to make a shower curtain and always thought how cool that would look, especially w/the people and dolphins going up and down.
Um, I'm not sure where the muslins are, in my JA's all the solids are on one wall, but I don't think the muslins are there, I could be wrong. They have the $1.99 solids on the bottom row and on up till you get to the egyptian cottons at the top.

Okay, I'll look around and hopefully find them. :)
Actully, I'm doing my bathroom in the POOL poplin. :) The shower curtain is hemmed but I'm running out tonight to Hobby Lobby to see if I can find some fun wide chenille rick rack. :D S&S tomorrow hopefully...
Getting off your thread now, I swear.
