I'm going to watch this because I *am* in the area and I just don't find much for fabric stores. We have JoAnns, Hancock's, Mill End Textiles...not sure about any more.

Where I live the closest (and only except for walmart) is an hour away and Hancock Fabrics. :shake:

Maybe I'll have to shop your sewing stash. LOL!

I *shop* my Mom's all the time.

Now there's an idea! I've been meaning to get it under control...it's just SO hard to do! LOL!

Funny thing...I decided to not use wovens for diapers anymore (can't guarantee the fit quite like I can with knits) so I pulled just a ton of wovens out to sell. Well...there it all sits off to the side and I've actually been pulling stuff out to sew clothing with. Oh well...I *tried* to downsize, right? ;)

SR Harris, that is where we use to get all our Carters and Healthtex knits. It is in Minneapolis.

I'm near Lacrosse, Wisconsin.

My dh's aunt & uncle and some cousins all live in/near Winona.

I just love the SE corner there - it is soooo beautiful with all the bluffs. We always said if we ever moved it would be either to the LaCrosse area or the North Shore/Two Harbors/Duluth area.

Oh, we're in Mankato. :) Have fun on your mini vacation - I think I need one too....
