I'm jumpin on the fabric obsession train!! Well I already have been sort of obsessed..ok anyway..I am going to buy some of that pretty floral fabric @ fabric.com..my question is..when you buy fabric I am sure you don;t always know what you are going to make do you? so how do you know how much to buy? KWIM? I know since my dd is so small I can get a dress out of a yard..but I would need more if I want pants/hats etc..& would hate to not have anough OR I would hate to buy too much & have a bunch of odd leftovers..so my question is: Do you have a rule of thumbyou follow when adding to your stash?

NO way do I have a plan for everyt hing I buy or else I wouldn't have half the stash I have. lol I am notorious fo rbuy ing just because I like it. If I Don';t have a plan I usually buy 2 or 3 or even 4 yds depending on how much I like it and if I wan t some of it to live in my stash forever.

I rarely know exactly what I am going to do when I buy something. I love to stash fabric! I usually buy 3 yards If I am certain it will be something for Trystan or myself I will get 5.
