I want to make my toddler some really sturdy and comfy pants. My husband and I have Gramicci pants with the gusset crotch and it's really comfy. Does anyone know where I could find a pattern like this? I'm so not good at just winging it.

i don't have any info about a pattern, but i have this to try on my "to do" list. i have set aside a romper that has a gusset that i was going to try to copy. unfortunately it's not a big name brand that you can just go out and find. it's "class club baby". but i bet if you went to a baby resale shop and looked at all the pants/romper crotches you'd find one. lol on this one the diamond shaped piece is attached at the front and there are snaps on the back side of it and snaps down the leg. if you find a pattern or make one up, let us know. :)

Those look comfy. My dh is really picky about jeans. Is there enough room in those for the errrr, package? It appears they only sell online or I'd have him go try some on. He likes the fit of Levis best but wears the slightly less comfortable Wrangler regular fit jeans too. He refuses to wear anything "relaxed fit" because he's very anti-saggy pants.

I'm pretty sure Class Club is Dillard's store brand of clothing. Of course, i could be misremebering. I've seen this type of gusset on lots of rompers though.

What is it with men?! Mine is super picky too. Its Levi 501 buttonfly or NOTHING. There is nothing else that he is that particular about. It just kills me to walk past all the much cheaper knock-offs to have to buy Levi

Not pants per se but the overalls for orphans had that piece in it. You could use that for size and go for it. I don't think any alterations would need to be made as long as it was for a small child.

eta: I'm pretty sure the diamond when the other way on the overalls. But it has been over a year since I made them... hasn't it?
