I was admiring those photos when Nigel came up behind me and said.."Hey, look at those kids, they go nursey!" and I said "Yep! Cool, huh?" He comes back with "You got anymore water in them boobies??" pointing at my chest. LOL

Makes me sad:( I weaned Nige at 2.5. Can't believe that was only 6 months ago! Feels like it's been years since I've nursed him.

Can someone translate this part:

this is what my translator came up with..

This exposure which is entitled "the small children and the centre" is the one year result of report during which I traversed the country with the meeting of many moms and their small children who still take the centre. For me, a baby is a small child when it can only be driven. The children of this series are old, for young person, 10 months, and for largest, 4 years 1/2.

You can manually acquire these photographs in the form of an original pulling signed carried out by myself, with the format 24x30, the price of 76 euros one, which will be addressed to you by the post office; or in numerical version of 360 dpi, at the prices of 30 euros, to print by your care, and which will be addressed to you by e-mail.

considering the context though I believe a few of the words are a little off :)
so here's another translation : this exposition that entitles itself "The kids and the breast" the result of a report year during which I traversed the country to the encounter many moms and of their kids that take again the breast. For me, a baby is a kid when it can move himself alone. The children of this series are elderly, for the youngest one, of 10 months, and for the biggest one, of 4 years 1/2.

That's how I'd translate this (I'm French)

This exhibit named "Toddlers and the breast" is the result of a year of report I did travelling throughout the country to meet mothers and their breastfed toddlers. For me, a toddler is an independant baby who can move around by himself. The babies/toddlers in these pictures are 10 months old for the youngests and 4.5 years old for the oldest.

the second part is only about how to aquire the pics.
Beautiful pics, btw :)

What a wonderful project. I am glad she published them on the web. We so rarely get to see pictures of nursing toddlers.

((Oceana)) I don't know your story, but I do know all kinds of feelings go along with breastfeeding. The pics made me smile but it's true they don't reflect everyone's experience. There are times nursing my toddlers has been wonderful and other times when it made me want to crawl up a wall.

Hear Here! It's not all "rainbows & butterflies" with our 2.5 yr old nursing, but I am glad we are all the same. I noticed the "twiddling" photo. That is the one thing about nursing him at this stage that makes me nuts, I absolutely cannot stand when he does it...but it was nice to see that it's not just me!!! LOL

I successfully breastfed my son for 19 or so months, I stopped when I became pregnant (it hurt too bad) and encouraged him to quit, just last week he finally stopped asking.

I did it because I kknew it was the best... I hated every second of it... it didnt hurt I just couldnt stand the sitting. I am large busted (I measure under my bust 36" and around about 52", though this is not with a good fitting bra so its likly larger) It took circus manuvers to get everything in position to get a good latch. Then I am stuck both hands busy for lingering nursing sessions.

I will breastfeed my new baby

Looking at those pictures I am filled with how beautiful and natural and loving, none of the things I feel/felt while doing it. still know i did it for my kid, having a baby means my needs become back seat when its important enough.
