I know that this detergent was brought up in another post and just wanted to let anyone who wanted to know that it is on sale right now buys 1 get 1 free. At $20 for 360 loads, it is about .055 cents per load. I think that their sales are the same anywhere. I hope I like it.

That is cool! I won't shop at sears because they pissed me off once upon a time. Anyhow, I calculated what I pay for my deteregent I buy (Surf) and it is 8.7 cents a load. Although, I only use about half the reccomended amount, so it is probably closer to 5 cents a load. My main point, deteregent is actually a lot cheaper than I thought it is! LOL And I only buy the 40 load box because I have a small home with limited storage space.

ok so talk to be about sears detergent.

i use tide now becuase it is strong enough for diapers. i usually buy it on sale with a coupon but could switch to sears if it came in a bigger box (and I didn't have to fill my cart with it at the store). I'd MUCH prefer to buy stuff like laundry soap once a year!

basically what I want to know is how is it on cloth (fleece) diapers.

I use the Sears detergent and it works great for clothes. I bought a few boxes of Surf a few months ago when it was on clearance for $1.98 a box, and I have not noticed any difference between the 2 brands. I didn't use the Sears brand back when ds was in diapers, so I'm not sure about how it would work for them. They have a lot of 50% off sales for it also, which would be the same as buy 1 get 1 free.

I have been using the Sears stuff for clothes for a year and a half and like it. I use the "stain fighting formula." It has a very light citrus scent and doesn't bother my allergic family.

My first tub lasted 18 months...I got it on clearance. The new tub is 275 loads and was $23.97 not on sale. I anticipate it lasting two years. I use half a scoop as I have soft water.

but the sale the OP is talking about is on the 180 load cardboard boxes that is $19.95 buy one get one free.

I am glad you posted that you like it because I bought some and I hope it works well for us! (I'm in Central FL but I don't have soft water...)

AH~gotcha. Forgot to mention I use the hE formula...not sure if the cardboard box ones are different. We have a water softener, that is how our water is soft. ;)

I love the Sears HE detergent. I have an HE washer. I only use 1/8 of a cup of it. I will have to check out the sale. I can't comment on diapers as I only used Dr. Bronner's on diapers.

I bought a box on sale (9.98) a week or so ago after hearing about it here. I haven't used it yet. I am hoping it's good!
