I loaded my grocery cart with all the 100% all natural all organic food I could find contentedly satisfied that I had done my job as a "Good Mother"
Making sure to feed and care for them to the best of my ability knowing full well I was going to go home with a smile on my face and a Snickers ;pop: in my tummy.
Come on fess up. I know I am not the only one.........
Sometimes I even splurge and get the natural cheetos mmmm I love those :monkeydan
Okay...I'll play. I bought a 6 pack of Reese's peanut butter eggs last week. Um...they were soooo sweet, but that didn't stop me from eating them.

I do the same thing :)
I figure I was raised on sugar and so its sooo hard not to have it occasionally. My kids think apples are the best so I'm doing them a service. Hopefully when they are adults they won't see the snickers and HAVE to have it like i do. kwim?
We do let them have candy though, just not all the time. We also like to get donuts every few weeks.

As soon as this semester of nursing school is over, I'm cutting back/out coffee and dp.
Alright, fess up, who else has vices?

I have girl scout cookies stashed so my kids won't see them. They are Caramel delights and I won't share, its hard for me not to eat a whole box once they are open. Yes I have sat down and eaten a whole box before (not in the last 4 years but still). I was good this year and only got 3 boxes of them. In the past, I made dh buy 8 (6 for me, 2 to share, :hahaha: ).
Hopefully after the move, I'll be more inclined to cut out the prepackaged foods and what little bit of candy comes in the house.

I'm a Pepsi girl. I try to avoid since caffene doesn't agree with my stomach & caffene free just isn't the same. I have braces on my teeth so that rules out candy, caramel, chips, pretzals, basically anything good, but I'm usually able to find something too sweet & mushy. ;)
P.S. Most things that say Entenmann's on the box are pretty darn good as well.

I enjoy diet coke whenever we eat out. I also eat the occasional cadbury mini-egg. And my poor babe was in pampers today (I was babysitting another baby and out and about around town and it was chaos.)

Oh man! Easter is sooo hard! Everyone gives ds all this candy he can't eat...and do you know who ends up eating it...well mao of course. Peeps, and cadbury eggs, reeses eggs and jelly beans, etc, etc.
Oh yeah and dh has a terrible diet coke habit and he thinks its fun to bring me DP's I told him to stop b/c I drink them. I have no self control when it comes to that stuff. So I don't want it in the house.

OOh, ruffles with lipton onion soup sour cream dip! Mmm....
My confession= I cannot ever remember to bring my own coffee cup so I end up having all these empty paper coffee cups all over my car.
And I have a tendency to eat really bad stuff when w/o my kids. i.e. donuts, candy bar, cafeteria grilled/fried food.

Cake. White iced, white cake. They sell it by the large piece at the grocery store. I indulge once a week while I eat super healthy at home. It helps me stick to my low fat/high fiber/whole foods diet. Once the boys are out of preschool and we are HSing 100% I will have to give it up, because I would never feed it to them. It's my little secret, you know?
Peace,
Kimberly

I don't feel bad about my coffee habit, I've cut way down not even an everyday thing anymore and it's organic and free trade :D that makes it okay right!? lol
Like the rest of ya'll I have a tendency to eat horribly away from my kids. It's become habit to grab a dr.pepper while I grocery shop. Chocolate is my big down fall and dh enables me terribly. He came home with the M&Ms dark today the big party size bag!

Confession......
Why do I go to the movie theater?
To see the latest movie on the big screen?
To cuddle and have a date with my husband?
To get some time away from the house and all the responsibilities?
HECK NO! I go for the popcorn and the candy!!! :eat: :eat: :eat:
I'm easy to find in the theater....front row.....often by myself....madly shoveling handfulls of popcorn in my mouth. Frantically searching for a piece that I dropped on my shirt.
I suppose I think nobody knows, since it is done in the dark. :p

The mint flavor with goat's milk
I can't seem to kick my ice cream habit. I was raised on the stuff. It has been 3 weeks since my last fix... I was strong today and ran past the ice cream aisle in the store. It helps when my oldest is with me since he starts asking me if it is healthy.
I feel the main thing is not to feel too guilty since that can be bad for your health too. :D

Ginger snaps. The organic kind that melt in your mouth? Mmm! I do Starbucks about every other month.
The only time our shopping cart doesn't look so great is when DH goes with me.

I can totally relate to that. I hate it when my dh goes grocery shopping with me. He buys a ton of junk I would never even think of buying.

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. I buy the half-pound of swiss dark every two weeks and try to make it stretch the whole time. Does it? Um....no.

Chocolate!!!!
But not lately. Diagnosed with gestational diabetes, so that brought my chocolate indulgence to a halt!!!
I love starbucks, but there is not one in my town, so it is easy to not over indulge, as I only get around a starbucks about once a month.

How about my last outing to the hfs, loaded up on great healthy stuff, and then we went to dinner at a greasy diner right after, lol!
I have coffee every morning, and chocolate every evening (although thanks to my co-op, it's organic, free trade chocolate). I also eat McDonald's too often.
Sigh.
