I sent a picture of my craft hole to a mama to cheer her up. Thought I'd share it here too. Just in case anyone is feeling overwhelmed or down, check out this disaster. LOL.

That's not bad at all-- you can still see the floor in spots! We call that "almost clean" around here lol

My husband would die! If I leave something on my table (um, hello it's a full size ping pong table and it's MINE) my husband thinks I need to organize. If DH saw that he would have the vacuum out in seconds and disappear for hours to clean up, no lie. One of the perks of marrying a neat freak.
Personally I think it's inspiring and shows great creativity.

Ok, I married a neat freak and all he does is b*tch if things are a mess. And considering my whole house looks a whole lot worse than the pic, that is a constant. How can I get him to clean?!

Soul sisters...that's all I can say. I'd post old pics of the last craft room, but I just deleted them. I don't have any of the current mess, what I call work in progress!! LOL :hahaha:

I have only one thing to say -- wow, you have a whole room for crafts! I cover a fourth of the living room floor with stuff.. Well, actually right now it is clean because we cleaned the apartment on Saturday but usually it looks pretty similar :)

My MIL's hobby is cleaning and my poor husband picked it up as a way to destress. I've written about him before on another forum. My FIL and I just sit back and watch the activity. I have better things to do than clean...like make snails and bendies and wool balls and eggs and now butterflies, etc.

One word: Bunk beds. Get out, mama's moving in. :)
Dh swears the kids all need their own room. Why? They all end up in our bed anyway.
I used to have all that stuff on the dining room table, so we ate off our laps for months. That helped the cause too. ;)
I should go plant the kids in there and take another round of pics. Then we can all play I-spy. LOL!!!

What a wonderful creative storm! I love it. I'll move right in and we can craft together. Can I bring my sewing machines? ROFL...
Let me see if I can find some pics of my "sewing corner..."

LOL! I normally don't leave that shade open at night. Creeps me out to think the neighbor's are watching me crafting. I think dh and I forgot about a bedroom shade once....there were a lot of sideways comments at the last neighborhood picnic eluding to such. We have VERY nosy neighbors. Of course if they were getting any they wouldn't have to watch our house I guess. ;pop:

Ahhh. I'm so glad I found this thread!!! I've been feeling like such a hog. My house is a disaster zone and only *I* could possibly function in the chaos that is my craft area. (well, I should "areas" since I have taken over the dining room as well as my sewing closet) Man, it looks like a craft store blew up!

You should see my room! I'm scared the camera would break!
It's nice to know I'm not the only one that needs a bit of chaos to create! The rest of my house is usually pretty neat. Maybe not vacuumed or dusted, but it is picked up. NOT my workroom. I guess I need a fair amount of chaotic energy to be productive.

The rest of my house is usually picked up too, but even that got away from me for a bit. I've been on a decluttering spree for about a week now....spring arrived in Minnesota. ;)
