Looks like no conscensus on the poll, so we'll go with 3 colors (pick any combo you'd like lol) lavender, green, and yellow.

You make 10 squares, keep 1 and send the other 9 to me. I'd really appreciate it if everyone would include a self addressed envelope with postage again. That has worked really well for me.

Sure-- it's been an ongoing swap for a year now. We've been doing 9 1/2" squares. You can choose to do a 9 patch block, the themed suggested block, or really anythiing you want to do. Then all the squares are sent into me (in this case) I mix them up and send them back so that each participant has a set of squares. Ideally we have between 10 and 12 participating, but we've been flexible on that lol. Anyone is welcome to join, we'd love to have you participate.

I'm interested! I didn't vote - I think pastels would be nice. I was seriously considering yellow and green, but that might be more appropriate for summer - nice bright sunny yellow! :)

Oh sure-- ask a hard question Marcey :). I have only finished 1 of the quilts (the one from last spring) and don't have the pics from that. DH requested a "4 seasons" quilt and I have been hoarding my squares since then. I think Kathy posted some of the ones she made with the summer and fall squares (we did blue/yellow last summer and browns, reds, and yellows for autumn)

I'll try to take some pics of my squares when we get decent light in the morning. I WISH I had pictures of the one I made last spring (we did lavender and green ) I did a picnic set with matching napkins for my sister's college graduation and I love how it turned out

We never picked a suggested square, but you're more than welcome to do whatever typwe you like since that's been the deal in the past. Or 9 patch is always okay. I've really got to decide what I want to do. I saw a tulip square the other day-- now just to remember where so I can decide if I really like it lol

SOrry I missed reminding people about the shipping deadline. We had to get a new network card for the computer so I haven't been online in a couple of days. Please pm me if you still need my address. I have received Tawnya's squares so far, can't wait to see the rest!

Mine went out Saturday. Dh might have put metered return postage, though, LMK if he did so that I can pp you some $$ for stamps.

Mine are going out tomorrow AM priority. Sorry for running late. :eyes:

I am running late with getting mine done.

I know excuses are no good, but my machine was in the shop getting an overhaul, so I had to finally figure out the serger (which is actually a good thing), but it took me a few days to work up the courage to try and thread it, LOL.

Anyway, I have my machine back as of today (yippee). But I've got the squares almost done serged so I'll just finish them up that way. I'll be getting them in the mail in the next day or so.

They're headed to the post office soon. we're having major grassfires and nothings getting out of town

Yeah, I'm a dweeb and forgot all about them. Saw the thread earlier and ran out and dropped them at the PO so they are FINALLY going out.
