It was a quick little visit, and we really didn't get to talk much--she was shopping, and I met her at Jo Ann's to give her something she bought from me. While I was there (with DH and kiddos in the car), I picked up some stuff I needed to make my baby sis' (she's 23) a wedding veil, garter, and ring pillow, so not much time for visiting, but it was still cool to get to meet a real, live Amity mama and her sweet little babe.

It's always nice to put a name with a face, isn't it? Bobbi Jo is definately way cool!

You know, Rockford is really not that far from Ionia, we should get together again sometime. I will also be taking the kids to the butterfly exhibit at F. M. Gardens so maybe we could make a playdate out of that.

Thanks Maryalene, its nice to know that someone still thinks I am cool :) Can't wait to spend time with you next week.

Bobbi Jo,
I replied to this last week, but the server was busy, then I went out of town. For some reason, I didn't know you were in Ionia. That is not terribly far from me. We should definitely make plans to get together, if spring ever comes around here. I keep chanting...6 more days!!!!

We went to the butterfly exhibit last year, and the boys really enjoyed it.

Also, I wanted to tell you, I made granola with my coconut oil, and it is yummy! If you manage to get a drum for your co-op, I may be interested in ordering more. This is milder than the stuff I tried before (NOW foods).

:)

We will be going during Terry's spring break. Our plan is to go there during the early afternoon Thurs. April 7th and then take advantage of the dollar admission evening at the children's museum as well. PM me if you would like to meet up.

I am planning on posting to my coops yahoo group to find out if there is any interest for the oil. It is not a super large coop (40-50 families who do not all order every month) so I am not sure if there would be enough interest but I hope there will be. I haven't tried it yet because we had a bit of the stuff from Garden of Life left but it smells milder then the spectrum that we had bought in the past.
