Cool things Roman does...

~ brings me books. Turns around and promptly plops into my lap to be read to.

~animal noises. Ok.. almost everythign growls like a tiger or baaahs like a sheep. but its so cute!

~Body parts. Show me your ears, show me your eyes etc. He inevitably pokes himself in the eye lol

~Romys pretty non verbal but he sure can make himself understood. He will scream like a banshee and pull on his clothes saying "paaaht" (part) which means he wants naked time cuz zoey sings "naked time is my favorite part". Then he tries to pull zoeys clothes off so she can be naked too

~he'll go get a kitchen chair and pull it over to the sink to help me do dishes and giggle like its the most fun he's ever had playing in the dish soap bubbles

~nursing in his sleep. I mean when i'm no where near him. I'll look over and he's fast asleep but the lips are still going. lol

~When daddy gets home he runs to the door and bangs on it til i open it. Then he flies out the door with the biggest grin screaming "dah!"

~he'll feed the dogs under the table when he thinks i'm not watching and w hen i catch him he does this "he he he" laugh and looks up at the ceiling like 'it wasn't me'. lol

so go on... tell me all the cute things your little ones are doing

James does so many cute things.....lemme think.....

~Saying "no more" when he really means "more"

~He loves to brush his teeth, 'shave' his head and flush the potty with Daddy

~He bangs on the fridge when he wants a drink or a pickle (When I open the door, he picks up what he wants)

~The way he says 'dog' is SO hick!

~He runs to the door yelling "Da-da" when he hears the garage door opening

~He will go get his diaper when I ask if he has 'mud'

~He wants to hold Gramma's hand instead of mine and tells her 'com'on'

~He loves mylar balloons....we currently have SIX floating around the house (Thank God for Dollar Tree ;) )

~He takes his baby and Elmo EVERYWHERE (They now have there own carseat and highchair)

Ok, I will stop there. I could go on for days. He lights up every second of my life!

Oh......one more......the way he LOVED to wear the hotel ice buckets like 'shriner' hats when we went to Florida!

When we took the bath letters out of the tub to clean them. He exclaims "Letters Oh NO!!!" just like prairy dawn on sesemee street when Cookie eats the letter of the day

When asked what he will do when daddy gets home he says he will "Bounce" as soon as the garage door sounds he jumps and screams and runs around crazy.

he must at all times wear shoes

the way he dances, shaking his head from side to side, its heart breaking

The way he says "sorry" to the wall when he walks into it.

Golly we have some cute kids.

Veronica loves to be "nakey." She'd happily stay undressed unless she thinks we're going somewhere. Then she needs her "Princess clothes" which are dresses don't ya know!

She adores chocolate. She will do anything you ask if chocolate is involved.

She sings hymns to herself as she plays. My favorite is "I Am Jesus Little Lamb."

When Vivian cries she tells me, "Mama, give Vivi 'ah-ahs.'" (ah-ahs is our word for nursing.)

My 4 y/o DS sings:
"Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream,
Mary, mary, mary , mary life is but a dream..."

My 2 y/o says "Hold me!" in the smallest sweetest voice. He also changes his clothes at least 5 times a day.

great thread!

:)

Daniel will give high-5's when he's proud of something w/o being prompted.

When we read our animal book at night (same book....every night...LoL) everything is a sheep if he doesn't know. When I correct him "No baby, that's a camel" He'll say - "Mama!! 'is a sheep!" and get really mad when I don't go along

He'll re-do things that make us laugh. He bit a pepperchini (sp) from Papa Johns pizza one time (I warned him it was spicy) he goes "Oh my - spicy!!" and when I started giggleing, he put it back in his mouth, red eyes and all and did it again giggling. He likes to be a clown.

His favorite food are mussles. But he won't pick them out of the shell himself. So I have to disconnect them from the shell, put the meat back in the shell and give them to him. Watching his chunky little fingers work is too much!!

*sigh* There are times I wish he'd stay this way forever.

Olivia wears alot of dresses because I love to dress up my girl, ya know. BUT SHE CANNOT CRAWL EASILY IN THEM *lol*
so she gets on all fours and cruises around the house-we are talking really fast.....it is so funny.

We are working on Signing time with Livi and Ben so she does signs sometimes.

She now says "YES" to everything

Livi is also trying to walk but she tends to try and run so she falls easily right now and laughs.

Ben is driving me crazy. We have a homeschool cooperative starting next week and he is going to preschool. He is so excited he is driving me crazy :D

Jon is jsut naturally curious at his tender age of 7-but he is quite smart. I am hoping to make herbalists out of some of these kids :D

My teens are tough. They are your typical I am stupid and clueless about life as a teen. So nothing cute aobut them lately <sigh>

these are cute to read :tears:

cole likes to "runny nek" (run naked) and it is soo cute how he says "runny nose" and goes to get tissue.

he stands at the window to watch dada come in and screams short screams as he walks up the sidewalk

he says "love you too" so precious

journey can just give little grins & giggles and that makes my heart flutter :hbeat:

At 2 days past 1 yr kelby is now climbing everywhere. She climbed a kids chair onto the kids kitchen table & stood there all proud--I freaked--she kept trying to do it. Had to put the table extension down. hello- you should still be a baby - not a toddler!!!

Cole:
... counts "two, free, two, two, six"

... learned to draw circles today, by himself. He also recognizes "H" and "dubble -- ew", where did he learn those??

... learned the sign for "more", but now he uses it to mean "I want"

... has started putting word that are almost right together. I was cleaning the floor and he called the bucket "garbage" water.

... plays "night night" all day long. Covering up truman or elmo and laying down next to them.

... does the funniest two step dance, while we watch Chicka chicka boom boom for the 5th time in a row. "a-gin, a-gin!"

... loves the battery powered bubble blower. He concentrates so hard on pushing the little trigger that he aims the bubbles right in his face.

... still hums while he eats, just like when he was nursing.

... wakes up, and the first thing he says is "where truman?" And then we go find truman and he gives him kisses. Lots of kisses.

Truman:

... gets so excited when you baby talk to him, his little arms and legs go all different directions, and then he gets cross eyed.

... smiles. baby smiles are so amazing.
