I bought a sample kit and I just don't get the coverage I need. I have medium and med beige foundation , bisque concealer adn mineral veil. say the bisque is used to hide imperfections, I have serious broken capularies in y cheeks, forehead adn chin and it isn't covering them. No matter how much i apply ( ok I don;t have a LOT to apply but i tried applying it 2 times and blending the foundation ) I still look like i ve been running a marathon! Help please, is there a trick?

I usually dab into the powder with my finger then dab the spot I want to cover, then go over it with all the powders and brush. When I have really bad blemishes, I use a little bit of this left over blemish concealor(sp?). I think you could even try mixing it with a bit of lotion to make a liquid and try that. Good luck!

I know they say to make sure your face is really moisturized. The way I do it, is first I put a dusting all over my face (like a base) and then I go back with the concealer brush and dab more where I need it. Do you have the special concealer brush, cuz I can't get the coverage I need without it. After that I put the mineral veil all over. HTH!

I'm going nuts with the broken blood vessels as well. I can't get the BE to cover them, either!

I'll have to try that moisturizer trick, maybe it would "stick" a little better.

LMK what works for you and I'll do the same, ok?

It took me a while to get used to the difference of coverage. I can still get the full coverage, but it never feels as *thick* as a liquid foundation. Actually, that's what I now like about it. At first, though, I felt un-made up.

The concealer brush does really make a difference. I worked without it for about a year and then bought myself the Goddess Kit for Christmas. The kit had a couple things I love...brushes and a powder called Gossamer that is just a shimmer powder that I can add to my others if I want a shimmery look.

I don't have broken capillaries, but I do get dark circles under my eyes (like all mamas do!) and I have found that it takes about 2 swipes with my concealer brush in Bisque to cover them well. Then, I use the foundation all over in a lighter coating.

Now that I'm used to it, I love the BE products.

I have the red cheeks too. I hate them. I use Cory cosmetics, which are similar to BE, but bismuth & mica free. I get really good coverage with a flat top brush.

I do this too! Works great because there is more powder on your finger than the brush. HTH

I have a couple of skin things going on - discoloration from hormonal changes and sometimes blemishes...even reddish ones. I can generally get BE to cover nicely. I wash my face and then moisturize (lightweight for my skin). Then I use a brush to apply BE. I haven't had to use a special brush or my fingers, but I do kind of use the brush straight on the areas I need to cover to kind of get extra coverage there and it seems to work. Maybe I will post a before and after pix here so you can see. ?

Ok, warning...unretouched close up photos of a 37 yr old woman with skin "challenges." You may not want to view these if you are eating or have small children in the room who may be traumatized. These are comparisons of no make-up verses BE - just the mineral foundation and no other make-up. I put different shots up to show different lighting.

Now if only it could take off a lot of pounds from my body, BE would be some wonder make-up.

Wow, what a difference. You don't realize the evenness that it gives your skin. You looked great before, but it evens out the different shades around your face, without looking like you have loaded a bunch of makeup on your face. I should do a before and after picture of myself to see the difference. That's neat!

Yeah, I feel it makes a big difference. I like that it doesn't feel real heavy on my skin - almost like I am not wearing make-up. I didn't get the BE moisturizer - just used over the counter stuff.

I have blotchy skin and don't feel comfortable going out without make-up, though I have to say that since having children I have done that more than I used to. Posting pictures of myself was hard to do because I don't like my skin, but I do hope to show how the BE does help. I only got it 2 months ago. I also have to say that some playing with some other stuff like the mineral veil, blush (OTC), etc makes it look even better. The pix show a quick application (i.e. 1 minute!).

The think I've noticed the most...my skin tone has improved. At first I didn't like the coverage..didn't feel like enough, but just kept using it and finally got the application down and now...it covers great because my skin looks better. They say this stuff is actually healthy for your skin and I think it is too. I love it. The red blotches that I usually have really evened out after a little while. If you can I would invest in the concealer brush...it really makes all the difference...it gets into the little crevices and helps concentrate the coverage where you need it. I can't get a good conceal without it.

I noticed the same thing after switching away from "regular" foundation. The minerals are much less stressful for my skin.

I couldn't get the hang of it either, but now I want to try to find my samples and try it again. I've tried both BE and Aromaleigh and just couldn't get the look I want.

If you find a trick that works all day for the capillaries, LMK??? Right now, I am having good luck with a Loreal concealer for mine. (I have them on the sides of my nose and they are also starting to show below each nostril...I hate those capillaries!!!)

I gave up on BE after ordering and trying to make their products work. It just was not the right product for my needs. However, I know many love the BE products!!
