For the last couple of weeks, it's been getting harder and harder to get Louisa to nap, and then she's awake until 11:30, so yesterday she was at my parents house so dh and I could go out and since she generally won't go to sleep without me, we said just skip the nap. I was a bit dissappointed to find that she was absolutely fine, not crabby or anything! She fell asleep easily (in the car on the way home) at 9:00. I liked that part, but it's going to take some getting used to giving up my afternoon break. Oh well, it had to happen sometime.

yes...i too mourned the loss of afternoon nap...*sigh*

Kassidy will skip her nap probably half the time. I have been surprised by this b/c she still seems so little, but there are days that she just will not sleep. I figure a rest time is okay though.
