I cant find a picture to explain this, and my brain just cant get it from the book... Do any of you have a link or a picture? I want to try the toe up socks. Thanks!!

picture the stitch like it's sitting on the needle as if it were a see-saw,with legs dangling down either side. The "leg" closest to you is the front leg (front loop), the leg behind the needle, farthest from you, is the back leg (back loop)
to knit into the back loop, you are going to put your working needle from right to left so that it catches that back leg.
Sorry I can't explain it better, I'll try to find the camera and snap a pic, LOL!

Gosh, it looks like I've been ktbl for my knit stitch all along. lol

Theresa, thank you for trying to help me out... I still havent gotten it, but I did find a pattern that does it a different way, and now Ive started a sock!!
